Set a small way inland from the coast of north-eastern Sicily this pleasant set of holiday apartments overlook the Gulf of Castellammare.

Casa Carrubba takes its name from the locality and is found just 2km away from the town centre of Castellammare del Golfo, yet is in a quiet suburban location.

The apartments each have their own kitchen/living rooms with a ktichen corner with oven, hobs, microwave and fridge freezer. Each apartment has one double bedroom, a sofabed and is provided with TV, hairdryer, combination safe, access to barbecue area, and a solarium

The house is a two storey building and most apartments have their own private terraces. The pool is for communal use and there is a free bus service from close by to take guests down to the local beaches.

Castellammare del Golfo is itself an historical and artistic centre found in the province of Trapani, where various civilizations collided each leaving their distinctive mark.

Five minutes drive away is the town of Scopello with its famous Faraglioni, where once upon a time the largest tuna station of west Sicily used to work.

Inland are theFiume Caldo and the famous terme Segestane whose thermal baths and spa take full advantage of the sulphurous waters' curative properties
